  • Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre (STC) is Hong Kong’s first independent, not-for-profit testing, inspection and certification organization.     To cope with our new expansion in Vietnam, we are currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Executive in Ho Chi Minh City.



    Department: STC Vietnam Representative Office

    Job Title: Sales and Marketing Executive

    Min. Qualification: Degree or High Diploma holder in a relevant technical discipline, or in Marketing, Business Administration, or have equivalent experience in a similar capacity.

    Accountability: He/she is accountable to the Office Manager


    1. Develop marketing strategies to achieve sales targets.

    2. Planning and implementing suitable sales management system to ensure marketing is done systematically.

    3. Communicating with customers, and meeting their needs.

    4. Analyzing and evaluating sales efforts, and to make recommendations.

    5. He/she is responsible for the sales and marketing function as assigned by the Office Manager.



    1. To acquire a thorough working knowledge of the department’s services and a thorough understanding of common regulations and standards, especially for testing and inspection services covered by the Textile and Materials Department (TMD) and the Hong Kong Inspection Company (HKIC). To keep this knowledge up to date through regular technical meetings and interaction with technical teams in all STC companies.

    2. To keep abreast of market information.

    3. Schedule and make regular calls and visits to clients, to provide timely information on product standards and/or regulatory changes.

    4. Coordinate, attend and exhibit at trade fairs.

    5. Monitor sales record of key accounts.

    6. Prepare and update of sales progress reports and customer visit reports.

    7. Provide clients with quotations, sales presentations and business proposals.

    8. Coordinate with the Marketing Communications Department (MCD) to distribute sales literature and brochures.

    9. Organize regular sales promotions, and public relations events.

    10. Investigate reasons for lost sales.

    11. Report on sales trends, and market directions.

    12. Report on service weakness and complaints.

    13. Attend department sales meetings (face to face and video conference call with other STC companies)

    14. Develop new accounts

    15. Build professional and ethical business relationship

    16. To perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
